The route

The Bangkok to Khao Yai transfer is a private door-to-door drive northeast to the hills around Pak Chong and Khao Yai National Park, covering roughly 180 km up the Mittraphap highway. Your driver collects you at Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang airport — or any Bangkok hotel — and takes you all the way to your resort along Thanarat Road, a Pak Chong guesthouse or the national-park gate, with a rest stop on request. A fixed-price private car turns a ~3-hour journey into one easy ride, with none of the changes and waiting that come with the bus or train to Pak Chong.

Questions travellers ask
How long is the drive?
About 2.5 to 3 hours from Bangkok to the Pak Chong / Khao Yai area, depending on traffic leaving the city and exactly where your hotel is along Thanarat Road.
Which vehicle should I choose?
A Sedan seats up to 3 passengers (2,500 ฿), an SUV up to 4 with more luggage room (2,990 ฿), and a Minibus up to 10 (3,700 ฿). Tell us your group size and bags and we’ll confirm the right fit.
Do you cover both Pak Chong town and the Khao Yai resorts?
Yes — one fixed price covers the whole area: Pak Chong town, the resorts and vineyards along Thanarat Road (Route 2090) and the Khao Yai National Park gate. Just give us the exact address or hotel name when you book.
Can you collect me from a Bangkok hotel instead of the airport?
Yes. We pick up from Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang airport or any Bangkok hotel for the same fixed price — just tell us the address when you book.
Can we stop at a vineyard or a viewpoint on the way?
Yes. A quick rest, coffee or toilet stop is always included at no charge. If you’d like to add a winery visit (such as GranMonte or PB Valley) or a longer sightseeing halt, just tell us when you book and we’ll build the extra time into your journey.
Do I pay anything in advance?
No. You pay the driver on the day. There is no deposit and no card needed to reserve.
How do I book a transfer?
Send your date, time, route, number of passengers and luggage by WhatsApp or email. We reply with a written confirmation naming your driver — usually within a couple of hours.
Which payment methods do you accept?
You pay the driver directly on the day, in cash (Thai baht preferred). No card details, deposit or prepayment are needed to reserve.
Can you provide a child or baby seat?
Yes. Baby and booster seats are available on request for a small add-on per seat — just tell us your children’s ages when you book. Child seats aren’t required by Thai law, so it’s entirely your choice; we’re glad to fit them if you’d like the extra peace of mind.
How much luggage can I bring?
Each vehicle class has a luggage limit tied to its passenger count. Tell us your bag count when booking and we assign the right vehicle — a sedan suits a couple with standard cases; larger groups take an SUV, minivan or minibus.
Will I get the exact vehicle model I booked?
You always get at least the class you booked — and sometimes better. When it suits our schedule we may send a larger or higher-class vehicle (for example a minivan or minibus in place of a sedan) at no extra charge and without prior notice. You are never downgraded, and the price never changes.
Can I change or cancel my booking?
Yes. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before pickup; within 24 hours a 20% fee applies, because by then your driver has set the day aside and turned down other work. In all honesty this runs on trust — nothing is prepaid, so the fee is a matter of good faith, not something we chase. If a driver has held the day for you, we simply ask that you do right by them. Delays or emergencies beyond your control are always penalty-free — just message us as early as you can. A no-show — no one at the pickup and no word from you — is charged 100% of the fare.
Do the drivers speak English?
Our drivers handle the essentials in English, and our booking team communicates fully in English, French and German before and during your trip.
Is the price per vehicle or per person?
The quoted price is per vehicle, not per person — the whole car is yours. It already includes tolls and, on island routes, the vehicle-ferry ticket.
