Personal-data consent

Privacy & personal-data policy

Last updated: September 2026

This policy explains what personal data SiamTransfers collects when you contact us or book a transfer or tour, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. By booking with us — through this website, WhatsApp, or email — you consent to your data being handled as described here.

1. Who is responsible for your data

SiamTransfers is a licensed Thai tour operator (TAT Licence No. 13/02997) and is the party responsible (the “data controller”) for the personal data you give us. This policy covers data collected through this website, WhatsApp, email and phone.

2. What we collect

We only collect what we need to arrange your trip: your name; a contact number and/or email (usually WhatsApp); your pickup and drop-off addresses or hotel; your travel date, time and flight number; the number of passengers and any child-seat or luggage needs you tell us; and the messages you send us.

When you use this website we also receive basic technical data — such as your IP address, approximate region, browser type and the pages you view — which is standard for any website and used to keep the site secure and working.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to: reply to your enquiry and confirm your booking; assign a driver and a suitable vehicle; contact you before and during your trip (for example about pickup timing or flight delays); keep a record of the booking for our accounts and in case of a dispute; and improve our service. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Legal basis

We process your data to take steps at your request and to perform the transport service agreement between us, and — for optional messages — on the basis of your consent. Providing a name and contact details is necessary to make a booking; without them we cannot arrange your trip.

5. Who we share it with

To carry out your trip we share the minimum necessary details with the driver assigned to you — normally your name, pickup and drop-off points, time and passenger count.

We also use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf: a messaging provider (WhatsApp / Meta), our email and calendar provider (Google), an email-sending service, and our website host and security provider (Cloudflare). These providers only handle your data to provide their service to us. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

6. International transfers

Some of the providers above store or process data on servers outside Thailand. Where that happens, we rely on the provider’s own safeguards and only share the minimum needed to deliver the service you asked for.

7. How long we keep it

We keep booking records only as long as needed for the trip, for our accounting and tax obligations, and to handle any later query or dispute. Casual enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted once they are no longer needed. You can ask us to delete your data earlier (see “Your rights”).

8. Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct anything wrong, delete it, or stop using it for optional messages. You can also withdraw your consent at any time — this does not affect a booking already in progress. To exercise any of these, just message us; we may need to confirm your identity first.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data and limit access to the people and providers who need it to arrange your trip. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to act quickly if anything goes wrong.

10. Contact & governing law

To ask about your data or exercise your rights, reach us on WhatsApp or by email — our details are on the Contact page. This policy is governed by Thai law, including the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). We may update it from time to time; the “last updated” date above shows the current version.

Questions about your data, or want to see, correct or delete it? Contact us any time — we respond promptly.
