Terms & transport regulations
Last updated: September 2026
These terms set out how SiamTransfers provides private and shared transfers and tours in Thailand, and the rights and responsibilities of both sides. By booking with us — through this website, WhatsApp, or email — you agree to the terms below.
1. Who we are
SiamTransfers is a licensed Thai tour operator (TAT Licence No. 13/02997) arranging private and shared ground transport and day tours. When you book, a transport service agreement is formed between you (the passenger) and SiamTransfers: we arrange a professional driver and a suitable vehicle to carry you and your party between the points you specify, on the date and time agreed.
2. Booking & confirmation
A booking is a request until we confirm it. We reply — usually within a few hours — with your price and your driver and vehicle details. Please check the pickup point, destination, date, time and passenger count in that confirmation and tell us at once if anything is wrong.
It is your responsibility to give a correct contact number (ideally WhatsApp), an accurate pickup address or flight number, and the real number of passengers and bags.
3. Prices & what’s included
Prices are fixed and quoted in Thai baht (THB) — for the whole vehicle on private transfers, or per seat on the shared minibus. The quoted price includes fuel, tolls, the driver and, where a route crosses to an island, the vehicle ferry ticket, unless we state otherwise.
Extras such as child seats, a Don Mueang (DMK) airport pickup, or additional stops are shown separately before you confirm. Prices do not include anything personal (food, drinks, entry fees) unless stated.
4. Payment
There is nothing to pay upfront and no deposit to reserve. You pay the driver directly when you are picked up, at the start of your trip — not when you reach your destination — in Thai baht (cash). Please have the agreed amount ready.
If you would like to pay another way, arrange it with us in writing before your travel date.
5. Vehicles
We book by vehicle class, not by a specific model. The class you choose is guaranteed as a minimum: we may send a larger or higher-class vehicle at no extra cost and without prior notice — never a downgrade, and the price never changes. All vehicles are insured and maintained for passenger transport.
6. Passengers, luggage & child seats
The passenger count you give must include everyone travelling, including children and infants. Each passenger may bring one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage of a normal size; tell us in advance about extra, oversized or unusual luggage (golf bags, surfboards, wheelchairs) so we send a suitable vehicle.
Thai law requires children to travel safely — child and booster seats can be added to your booking for a small fee. For everyone’s safety, seatbelts must be worn where fitted.
7. Delays, waiting time & flight tracking
For airport pickups we track your flight and adjust to a reasonable delay at no charge. Complimentary waiting time is 60 minutes after an international landing, and 30 minutes after a domestic landing or a non-airport pickup.
Beyond that, waiting may be charged or the driver may need to leave for the next job — so keep us updated on WhatsApp if you are held up. If you are delayed and do not tell us, and the driver cannot reach you, the trip may be treated as a no-show.
8. Island ferries & missed crossings
Some routes cross to an island by car ferry (for example to Koh Chang). Ferry times are outside our control. Your ferry ticket is included, and we plan the pickup to reach the last crossing in good time.
On the Bangkok → Koh Chang and Pattaya → Koh Chang routes, if your flight is delayed and we miss the last car ferry through no fault of yours, we still drive you all the way to the pier, and because the vehicle-ferry ticket was not used we take 500 THB off your price. Any onward crossing or overnight stay near the pier is then arranged and paid separately.
9. Cancellations & changes
Because we take no prepayment, you can cancel or change a booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed pickup time — just message us.
For cancellations inside 24 hours, or a no-show, we may ask for a fair contribution toward the driver’s time and travel, especially on long-distance or island routes where the driver has already set out. Date, time and route changes are usually possible subject to availability; tell us as early as you can.
10. No-show
A no-show is when no passenger is at the pickup point and we cannot reach you within the complimentary waiting time. To avoid it, keep your phone on and your WhatsApp reachable, and message us immediately if plans change. A confirmed no-show may be charged.
11. Conduct & safety
The driver is responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle and may refuse or stop carriage if a passenger is abusive, unsafe, or breaks Thai law. Smoking, illegal substances and open alcohol are not allowed in the vehicles. Please treat the vehicle with care; any deliberate damage or soiling that needs professional cleaning may be charged.
12. Liability
We arrange transport with due care and skill and carry the insurance required of a licensed operator. We are not liable for losses outside our reasonable control — including flight delays and cancellations, weather, road or ferry closures, traffic, or acts of authorities — but we will always help you find the best solution.
Important — passenger insurance: in Thailand, a vehicle’s (taxi) insurance does not cover the passengers. We strongly recommend that every passenger holds their own valid travel or medical insurance so they are protected in the event of an accident.
Please do not leave valuables in the vehicle; we cannot accept responsibility for items left behind, though we will help you recover them where we can.
13. Complaints, contact & governing law
If anything is not right, tell us as soon as possible — ideally during your trip — so we can put it right. You can reach us any time on WhatsApp or by email; our details are on the Contact page. These terms are governed by Thai law.
Questions about any of this? Contact us before you book — we are happy to explain.
