The boat from the island is bought separately at the pier; from Ban Phe, the fixed-price car removes the hassle of finding transport back to the city after your island stay.

They reserved a good hotel at a reasonable price, arranged a private transfer both ways, and booked a hotel near Bangkok airport for our last night. Everything was absolutely precise, honest and high quality — you couldn’t plan it any better. Of course we couldn’t skip the elephant bathing again (our 5th time on Koh Chang). The full-day car tour around the island was a highlight — even places we already knew came alive with new information, and we discovered a couple of brand-new spots. Questions travellers ask
Is the boat from the island included?
No. The ferry or speedboat from Koh Samet to Ban Phe pier is bought separately. The transfer covers the private drive from Ban Phe to Bangkok.
Where does the driver meet me?
At Ban Phe pier, the mainland arrival point from Koh Samet. Send us your boat time and we coordinate the pickup.
How much is the island boat, and where do I buy the ticket?
The island boat is paid separately — we deliberately keep it out of the transfer price so you are never double-charged. Koh Samet has several boat types, from a cheap shared wooden ferry up to faster speedboats, so the fare varies — budget roughly 100–400 ฿ per person each way depending on which boat you take and the time of day. Tickets are sold at Ban Phe pier, and hotel receptions on the island can arrange the return.
Do I pay in advance?
No — payment is to the driver on the day.
How do I book a transfer?
Send your date, time, route, number of passengers and luggage by WhatsApp or email. We reply with a written confirmation naming your driver — usually within a couple of hours.
Which payment methods do you accept?
You pay the driver directly on the day, in cash (Thai baht preferred). No card details, deposit or prepayment are needed to reserve.
Can you provide a child or baby seat?
Yes. Baby and booster seats are available on request for a small add-on per seat — just tell us your children’s ages when you book. Child seats aren’t required by Thai law, so it’s entirely your choice; we’re glad to fit them if you’d like the extra peace of mind.
How much luggage can I bring?
Each vehicle class has a luggage limit tied to its passenger count. Tell us your bag count when booking and we assign the right vehicle — a sedan suits a couple with standard cases; larger groups take an SUV, minivan or minibus.
Will I get the exact vehicle model I booked?
You always get at least the class you booked — and sometimes better. When it suits our schedule we may send a larger or higher-class vehicle (for example a minivan or minibus in place of a sedan) at no extra charge and without prior notice. You are never downgraded, and the price never changes.
Can I change or cancel my booking?
Yes. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before pickup; within 24 hours a 20% fee applies, because by then your driver has set the day aside and turned down other work. In all honesty this runs on trust — nothing is prepaid, so the fee is a matter of good faith, not something we chase. If a driver has held the day for you, we simply ask that you do right by them. Delays or emergencies beyond your control are always penalty-free — just message us as early as you can. A no-show — no one at the pickup and no word from you — is charged 100% of the fare.
Do the drivers speak English?
Our drivers handle the essentials in English, and our booking team communicates fully in English, French and German before and during your trip.
Is the price per vehicle or per person?
The quoted price is per vehicle, not per person — the whole car is yours. It already includes tolls and, on island routes, the vehicle-ferry ticket.
